We both got mooned!
In July of last year my husband and I (and our two kids) were at a Baltimore Orioles game and Cal Ripkin Jr and his baseball team were on the field when a man in his 50's/60's who had been sitting about 10 rows down from us on the baseline decided to take off everything but his hat and sneakers and streak across the field. He ran from the 3rd baseline to the right outfield fence and back again, passing within inches of Cal Ripkin Jr. both times. The look on Cal's face was priceless. I ran into Cal during the September NASCAR race at Dover International Speedway, where I work as a Pit Road security guard during all races. Cal was there to participate in the pre-race introductions and starting of the race, and as I stood guard to keep the fans away from him, I mentioned the game and the streaker and his expression to him, and we cracked up as we recounted the morbid shock and horror on Cal's face as the streaker ran straight towards him with arms wide open looking like he was going to try to hug Cal. It's a look I'll never forget, and an event that Cal will probably never forget either. We had a great time chatting about that game while we waited for Driver Introduction to start. After all, celebrities are people too!
