After attending a Bob Hope USO show in Korea, we were walking back to our unit when a convoy of jeeps started to pass us. Bob Hope was in about the 3rd jeep and he told the driver to stop. He then told the jeeps behind his to make room and give us a ride to where we had to get off in order to return to our unit. What a thrill! What a great man!
