Shook his hand
While living in Seattle, I attended a march for Democrats, where I had the opportunity to shake the hand of Al Gore. I was surprised at how much make-up he was wearing. He was very personable and we had a conversation about politics. He told me he hoped to win in 1994, but instead he became Vice-President under Bill Clinton.
