Mel Gibson

In the fall of 1991 they filmed a scene from Lethal Weapon 3 behind the restaurant I was working in in Clearwater Beach, Fl. There was a Mel Gibson sighting at the gift shop and I ran down there as I have been a Mel Gibson fan forver. There was a skinny little security guard standing in front and told me I could not go in there, well i knew there was another entrance on the other side and I went there and walked right up to Mel as he was browsing the sunglasses and introduced myself in my finest southern accent, "Hi there! My name is Renee and ya'll are filming right behind my daddy's restaurant." He just stood there and said nothing so I turned to walk away and as I did, he asked how the food was, and I told him great, I was the bartendar and he should come in. Well unfortunately he didn't but the director did and a lot of the crew was there the week before setting up.
