I got to go backstage at one of Billy Joe Shaver's concerts. When I saw him, I acted like a teenager, seeing Elvis for the first time. I was so embarassed, as I am 71 years old, but he came right over to me and danced me across the floor, autographed the picture of him that I had with me, and talked to me about his songs. It is the highlight of my life, having that brush with fame.
