Airplane seat help
I got an exit row seat on a flight from D.C., back through Chicago to Alaska where I live. This was during the impeachment period of Clinton and Hyde was "in charge" of the House proceedings. He had a seat right across from me but as he is of rather substantial girth, he needed a seatbelt extension. I was able to assist him in this endeavor was then able to have a short but pleasant chat with him during the flight. The conversation mostly focusing on my home state of Alaska versus his home of Illinois and the unique environment he experiences in D.C. He was a very interesting and polite gent.
