Met him at a county fair.
Years ago - a friend was running for Congress and his family's company helped fund the local 4-H fair in the area. At the time, Mr. Copperfield was still doing fairs. Because my partner and I sat in the booth for our candidate, his family invited us to a private reception held for Mr. Copperfield. I got a kiss on the cheek for working. Years later, my daughter who was two, met him after a show. She hollered "He kissed me like he kissed you!" when he kissed her. Mr. Copperfield looked at me like I was some kind of nut. It was funny.
