Nobody catches Courtney when she falls!
I went to a concert at a small club in NYC back in the early '90's when Courtney Love's band, Hole, was touring the USA. This was pre-Kurt suicide and pre-tabloid mania.
They played an awesome show; people were moshing and stage-diving left and right. Most of the crowd was in their early 20's. Toward the end of the show she was really getting into the atmosphere and made a bad decision to do a stage dive. Big oops! Nobody caught her. Instead she landed on top of a poor teenage boy and the two just lay there on the dirty floor. She was about two feet away from me, looking up in desperation, underwear showing under her dirty pale pink dress.
"Isn't anybody gonna help me up?!?!?!?" Nobody moved, they were all half in shock and I think half scared. I felt bad for her in the humiliating position she was in so I grabbed her hand and helped her to her feet. She quickly hopped back on stage, cursed out the awe-struck crowd, and played the meanest encore ever. It was punk rock at it's finest!
