He was georgous. I was speechless. Met at a rest stop in NC.
It was a hot day in July in a small town in North Carolina. I was traveling back to Ohio and had stopped at a rest stop just off the interstate. It was a small mom-n-pop store. I was picking up a few gifts to take back home. As I turned away from the counter, there he was. Walking out through the door I thought to myself, "Is that him? It can't be. But wait, I think it is him." And it indeed was Dale Jr. I tried to compose myself and smile as I smoothed my hair. He looked me straight in the eye and said, "Hey." I dropped my gifts straight to the floor. He helped me pick my stuff up. I tried to say "thank you," but nothing would come out. So I just smiled shyly and started to walk out, when he grabbed my arm and said.... Ahem. Needless to say, I stayed in N.C. a few more days.
