Labor of Love
It was January 14th 1982, it was snowing like crazy, the roads were impassable and I went into labor. My finace, his best friend, his brother and I piled into the car to head to the hospital. The roads were so bad and the snow so blinding we had to pull into an IHOP and wait. We went in the restaraunt with everyone else to get a drink and some food. While we were there, I was in the middle of severe pain from contractions and my fiance notices Aerosmith sitting at a table close by. He went over to speak with them and has a 20 minute conversation while I am dieing in pain. I would have loved to go talk to my favorite alltime group myself, but I was a little pre-occupied.
