Dinner honoring bedside network which helped older acrors
NYC at the Waldorf. Tom Brokaw was a young newsman then who was the emcee. Margaret Hamilton was the honored speaker who described the program. I'd remembered her from The Wizard of Oz and was still picturing her that way. You couldn't have met a nicer woman. John delorean and his former wife were also there as guests and I shook hands with them.
