On the opening night of BRAVEHEART, Mel Gibson came into the theater with about a half hour to go in the film and took a seat next to me. Together we watched him be torturted, disemboweled, and otherwise killed on screen. Mel seemed nonplussed by the experience. He was wearing flip-flops.
