I was in Las Vegas with some friends Febuary 27th-March 2nd of this year, and we were staying at the Excalibur Hotel. On Tuesday night, we were walking around looking for a good machine to jump on and who do we see but Flava-Flav with his big clock necklace on and his Viking hat on the chair by him. We were stunned! One gal ran up to him and he actually took a picture with her as he was playing rouelette but he really looked disturbed. My friend told me to run over and get my pic taken with him but man, I was pretty nervous especially after seeing his face after he took his picture with the gal a second before. It looked like he was starting to be noticed from all over the building and we saw a few too many security guards walking around than before but it was still very exciting.
I ended up getting the courage to walk over to him before he started to walk away from his game and I yelled out his name and he actually turned around as I approached him and I told him I was a huge fan of his and really enjoyed all the episodes of him and Bridgette Nielson on the Surreal Life and also when he was in his old band. He really smiled at me and grabbed my hands and said, I quote, Thank you, Baby:) Then walked away with some of his buddies. The friend with the camera was on a machine and so, unfortunately, she was unable to see me shake his hand(s) and also unable to take our picture. Oh well though. I will never forget it. He was pretty cool! He's a character on tv too!
