Backstage Meeting with Celine
I believe it was in 1995, the Juno's were being held in Toronto at the Okeefe Centre (now the Hummingbird Centre). A friend of mine was affilated with KPMG and had passes to watch rehearsals. She asked me if I wanted to see Celine rehearse, so I said sure. We made our way through the back door, and briefly had to stop in a hallway to allow for crew to pass.
As I was patiently leaning against the wall in the hallway, a door directly across from me opened and Celine stepped out. She looked up and down the hall for a familar face, then she looked over at me, smiled, and said hello. I responded with a smile and a Hi back to her.
We then began moving to the front to get seats to listen to performers rehearse.
