The Proof is Not in the Photo
Many, many years ago, while M*A*S*H was originally on TV, Alan Alda came to Baton Rouge to speak at a convention. My father arranged for me to be on the committee that sat behind him during the speech. Afterwards Mr. Alda was gracious enough to let my father take a photo of the two of us. But when the film was developed, there was Alan Alda, but I was nowhere to be seen. My father was two feet away and completely missed me!! I still have the photo but have yet to be able to convince anyone that I am right next to Alan Alda.
