Warren Beatty

Many years back, in the early 80's, when I was a holiday gift wrapper (my seasonal job during college), at Brentanos bookstore (which was originally located in the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel lobby), none other than Warren Beatty strolled in, to do some Christmas shopping. He lived for many of his bachelor years (pre-Annette Bening and family) in the Penthouse Suite of the hotel. Known to be a "womanizer," he flirted with me, as I wrapped his books. When I presented him with the gifts, he tipped me, and then said, humorously, "Can I put a bow on you as well?"
