My friend and I signed up to be extras (non paid) through beinamovie.com. We were at the Yankee Stadium during the summer of 2002. Amy and I were chosen to be in a scene with others, as fans who are attending a Yankees baseball game. I was sitting on the outside of an isle, standing up talking to another "fan." The scene called for Adam Sandler to run down the stairs looking for "Marisa T’s" character, calling out her name. Adam ran down the stairs past me, while filming. He was coming back up the stairs.
When he walked over, I asked him if he wouldn’t mind signing an autograph for my daughter. He was VERY gracious and took the time to sign my autograph. He is a very humble person. Needless to say though, my scene was edited out of the movie. Well, it was still worth the experience of actually being in a movie and meeting Adam.
