Going Up?
I recently won a contest to attend a Golden Globes Award after party. My daughter and I knew we would certainly see celebrities at the party. However, we never imagined we would actually see anyone anywhere else. We had attended the party, got eight autographs and had many sightings of famous people.
We were in the elevator going to the front desk to checkout in the morning after the Golden Globes after party. The elevator door opened. I looked up into the most beautiful eyes. I could not see the face, as there was a huge hat over the head. But, when he raised his head to see if I recognized him, I did. The person trying to disguise himself was Harrison Ford. He gave the tiniest of smiles, with kind of an imploring look, as if to say, please don’t recognize me. And so I continued on my way, without saying anything. He is just as nice looking as he is in the movies. My daughter did not recognize him, but she noticed how I was behaving. She asked me later, who it was, and then she asked me why I didn’t get his autograph? I explained sometimes people need to be left alone. But, I do believe this qualifies for a celebrity sighting.
