Michael Jackson asked me to dance
One night at a club called Carolina West in Los Angeles, where I spent most of my time in 1982 playing asteroids, I was sitting around the dance floor. Some guy walked up and asked me to dance. Without looking up I said, "No, thanks." To my surprise, when I looked up, I saw a couple of big guys on either side of him, and everyone in the club was looking at me! I felt so foolish. Guess I should've looked at him before answering, huh?!
