Back in 1992, I was a manager of Kmart, and the advertising executives ran an in-store display contest for the best Garth Brooks display. Our store said I looked like Garth Brooks, and I was dressed up in one of his album cover outfits. The display won first place. It was so uncanny; I was invited to meet him backstage at one of his concerts in Los Angeles with the ad executive.
