When Goldie and her family were living in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Her son Wyatt played on the Richmond Sockeyes hockey team. They decided to have the "rookie" party at the Hawn/Russel's residence and I knew a lot of people on the team so I decided to go. I showed up with a bunch of friends and Wyatt gave us a tour of the house. He took us upstairs to where he slept and told us about the ghost incidents they were having within the house. The tour continued and he showed us where his mom, Goldie, did her yoga and meditated. Later on that night me and a girlfriend were hanging out upstairs looking at all of their family pictures and memorabilia when Goldie came out of her room and started chatting to us about all the pictures. We then invited her to have a glass of wine, which she accepted. WE sat upstairs for over an hour talking about life and experiences and we asked about the ghost encounters. (Lol, we couldn’t resist!) She got all into it and took us down to her meditation area on the main level of the house and showed us the different things she does to "escape" from it all. It was really cool, especially since she is a little ...let's just say...out there. :) We ended up getting hammered with her by the end of the night and then took some pictures and jumped in a cab home! It was such a fun night. After that we always talked at her son's games and went out for lots of team dinners and outings together. She is very down to earth and a real sweetheart!
