meeting David Bowie
Back in the early 70's, I was at my ex wife’s Ice Cream shop where she worked. After I came in and sat down at the counter, I looked over at the person who was sitting to my left. I new who it was right away and I said are you David Bowie and he looked at me and said yes I am! I shook his hand and said how nice it was to meet him. He went right back to eating his ice cream, and I told my wife who it was and she had no idea who it was that she had just waited on. We all had a good laugh. David was in Albuquerque where we are from, making a movie, of which I cannot now remember the name. It made our day anyway.
