My Band with Charlie
My band was performing just outside, next to the building Charlie Daniels was going to be performing in. So we were the opening band outside at the Crawford County, fair. After we were done and Charlie was done the whole band went inside behind the stage and we all got to meet and talk to him. Charlie had signed my ex-husband's guitar, he was my husband at that time though. The whole band got to get a picture with him, and all I could think of was he was so sweaty and under his arms it was so wet, and I got to have his arm pit around my neck and shoulder. The other female player Diane was a little short one and she was chuckling since she new what I was thinking, but she got to stand right in front by his belly. LOL. But I love the guy and he kicked butt at his performance. It was an awesome experience. This is something I will never forget. SO I have an 8 by 10 of this story on my wall- the band with Charlie Daniels.
