I met Asia Argento at the 2003 Toronto Film Fest premiere for her film THE HEART IS DECEITFUL ABOVE ALL THINGS. I attended her private party afterwards at Toronto's The Bovine Cow, at which she was DJ along with 'JT Leroy" (the scandal involving him/her was unknown then). We met and she said "What's up?" I said something she has heard, I am sure, 2 billion times and that is "How's your dad, I've seen all his films." She replied that he was good and shook her head. I took a photo of her and JT Leroy. When she was not DJ she was hidden in the back with a group of people. I remember the general consensus at the festival was that people 'loathed' her film. She seemed like a kind person, although in Italy she is a movie star and you could tell she was 'affected' by the constant attention. I was at the festival for the film Tarnation, in which I had a small part. I have other stories to tell as well...
