Played pinball with Elvis
I worked for Ramada Inn in the 70's in Phoenix, Az. Me and my sister shared a car. I was waiting for my sister to pick me up about midnight and always played pinball or video games while waiting. The arcade was very small and narrow with only one pinball machine at the end. I heard the door open but was busy and realized someone was watching me, I continued to play. He watched me for awhile, but when he spoke, I knew the voice, but did not place it until I turned for a second. It completely blew my concentration. I lost my ball and the game ended. He asked if he could play too. Of course I said yes. I wish I could tell you I played my best or we played for hours. Not so. We played for only about 45 minutes before my sister showed up and I left thinking we would repeat it the next night. I never saw him in person again.
