Meeting Keanu when he was in Winnipeg, Canada doing Shakespeare.
Years ago, Keanu Reeves came to Winnipeg to do Shakespeare, Hamlet! After watching the play with a friend, we left in my car, and as we drove by the front of the theatre, Keanu was just coming out to get into his limo. He was swamped by teen girls and we, getting caught up in the excitement rolled down our window and yelled at Keanu to wave at us, which he did. Of course, that just wasn't enough for two young women, so we quickly pulled over, ran across the street, and since we conveniently had our camera with us, had our picture taken with Mr. Reeves! He was very gracious and my friend and I like to bring it up in casual conversations from time to time how Keanu Reeves once held us in his arms. And we have proof!
