Bonanza Star Talks To My Dad
This occurred during the days when Bonanza was THE SHOW. We were at the Ft Worth Stock show and Dan Blocker rode his horse below us and my Dad hollered at him. We saw him a little later during an autograph session and he pulled us out of line and he made us both feel so special. When we left, I felt like a celebrity, and my Dad was my hero. This happened over 40 years ago and I have seen many celebrities since, but I believe Dan Blocker was a TRUE celebrity because he made you feel special and not act like he was special.
