He came for the movie premiere & ended up holding my hand!
When I heard that Tom was coming for the premiere of Without Limits, that he produced in Eugene OR, (and my son was in as an extra), I tried to figure out how to meet him. I tried, but couldn't get invited to the after party. I showed up too late to get behind the barracades (where my friend had a shop). When Tom finally came up in a limo with the window rolled down, it was raining. I knew just what to do! I started chanting "We want Tom!" and people joined in. Sure enough, he came over and started shaking hands; when he came to my hand, he just held my hand for a long time and looked into my eyes ! I couldn't speak, so I just laughed and smiled !
