Dale Earnhardt Sr.'s car ran over my foot!
I was trying to get a picture and a quote from Dale Ernhardt, Sr. at the Upstate Fair Grounds in Easley, SC. He was leaving the "Meet and Greet" tent and I was elbowing my way through the crowd to get a picture. The crowd started surging forward while I was taking pictures and I ended up on the opposite side of his entourage van. As I stepped forward to ask a question, his driver put his foot on the gas and ran over my right foot..luckily only the toes. I not only got the worse pictures ever taken (elbows and feet) but my foot hurt for the next week!
