I worked as an uncredited prop assistant on the Ned Beatty, Beverly D'Angelo, Peter Strauss TV movie called Trial: The Price of Passion (she plays a killer on trial). I saw Ms. D'Angelo come out of her dressing room ready to shoot a large dinner gala scene. She is quite short, very pretty, I did not meet her. Ned Beatty at one point was standing right next to me, he looked me right in the eye for a few seconds. He told someone on the crew 'that he needed to pee'. They soon shot the scene, I think D'Angelo was in character the whole time after cutting. And I was told that she and Peter Strauss did not get along. He was at the dinner table with her and after the scene was finished she immediately got up and turned away from him. There were pieces of cake on the table and she laughed as she nipped a tiny piece with her long fingernails and ate it. The movie was shot in Houston, and this scene in particular was filmed at a hotel across from the Astrodome. Circa 1991/92
