Met her while I was on vacation
When I was in third grade, I took a car trip out west with my mother and grandmother. While in Sun Valley, we saw Ann Southern get in a car. My folks followed her home. They went up to her door(dragging me along) to ask for her autograph. She came to the door carrying a white poodle and wearing a very nice smile. She graciously gave us her autograph. I was extremely embarassed but the intrusion into her privacy didn't even affect my folks. Her autograph has since disappeared.
