My first brush with Canadian fame!
When I was 5 or 6 we were visiting my uncle in Gibsons, B.C. and stopped by Gibsons Landing to see Molly's Reach where they filmed the show the Beachcombers. Bruno Gerussi, who played the character Nick, was there and I was too shy to approach him. My uncle went up to him and asked if he would take a picture with me, which I think I still have today. He was very nice and I remember being nervous and excited. The Beachcombers ran for about 20 years in Canada on CBC.
