Brittany Murphy

During the summer of 06, I went to see a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald presented by Freda Payne. It was a beautiful performance. But I was distracted by a young lady with blonde hair in front of me. It was Brittany Murphy, one of my favorite female celebrities. I was almost as captivated with her as I was with listening to Freda Payne belt out Ella's songs and watching Brittany bebop to the music. At the end of the show, Freda acknowledged all the celebrities in the audience, Dionne Warwick being the most notable, and didn't recognized Brittany at all. That was cue. I hopped immediately when the light came on. I politely asked if she was Brittany Murphy. She was so sweet and humble while I gushed with excitement that she talked with me. The thing I found most intriguing was she was star struck too. I felt like one of her friends when she said, "Can you believe all the stars in here?"
