What a Ride
While attending a business convention in San Diego, we returned to our hotel to be stopped at the elevator by what appeared to be secret service agents. It turned out that they were waiting for then Vice President Al Gore to arrive. After an hour wait until almost midnight they finally "released" us. When we got on the elevator we were surrounded by secret service agents, one holding a huge brief case with the Vice President's initials. I rode up the elevator with a VP's private papers!
