Look alike that the local girls screamed about
I was a sailor in the San Francisco area in 1964 who happened to look like Paul from this new band called the Beatles. The local girls went wild and said since they couldn't get the real thing, I became their target and soon got the nickname "Beatle" and was chased down the street, etc. Soon rumors started that another sailor in town looked like "Ringo" which only added fuel to the frenzy. We became good friends for some reason, but then it was time to go back to sea, which became a long time absence with the start of the Vietnam conflict.
