I met an All-Around American
I was 8 years old and went to the Kansas City State Fair with my family. I was walking behind a tent with my mom to find a bathroom when I bumped into Alan Jackson!!! He was and is my all time favorite Country singer. Well,he talked real nice to me and my mom and even autographed my cowgirl hat!!!! Then pointed us to the bathroom and told us to enjoy the show!!! I'll never forget it. The only bad thing is that in the summer of 1996 our house burned down and I wasn't able to save my hat. But even without the hat, I still have one awesome memory!!!
