Gideon Yago came to my school
Two years ago, Gideon Yago, from MTV News, came to my high school. He was doing a story on the Katrina victims, and we had a well known football player from New Orleans transfer to our school. He was a top recruit, and Gideon was doing a story. Since I was on the yearbook staff, I was able to go and speak to him. I took a picture of him with some of our football coaches and talked to him for a while. He went to our game that week to film the player. It was my first brush with fame.
