I didn't even know it was him.
I used to work in a restaurant in Minneapolis, during the time when "Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" was in town, and Donny would always come in on my day off. One day, I came in to work and was told that Donny had once again come in the day before, but this time it was worse than usual, because he had told my coworkers that he was leaving town later that same day -- I never even got to see him! A little while later a really hot guy came in, asking if he could be served right away, because he was in a hurry. I sat him in the only table available -- unfortunately the waitress in that section was a complete pill -- and ran into the kitchen. When I found the waitress talking to the manager, I said, "I just seated a really hot guy in your section, but he's in a big hurry." The waitress replied with, "Tell him to go to hell."
"I'll take care of it," the manager said, and went out into the dining room to take his order.
I went back to the front of the restaurant, and a few minutes later, the manager walked up with a big grin on her face. "Was the guy in a hurry the guy at table 61?" she asked.
"Yeah. Why?"
"That's Donny Osmond."
I nearly fell over, I was so sure he'd already left town, I didn't even know it was him when he walked in!
