Met him, got autograph
The year was 1960, and I was 10 years old. On the way home from my Grandparents house we past Graceland and noticed a crowd was forming. My Dad pulled over and I got a photo of "The King." The crowd of people was much taller then me, but I persisted to wave my photo to get his autograph. Soon I heard him say, "What's this, a hand coming out of the ground?" The sea of people parted and there I was facing him. He took my photo, autographed it, handed it back and the sea of people closed.
