Slept in the same bed!
I'm staying with my cousin and his wife in Toronto, and we're watching TV one evening. On comes a trailer for the movie "The Devil's Advocate" and a close-up of Keanu. So, without thinking about it, I say: "That is a beautiful man!"
My cousin gets this strange smile on his face, gets up and grabs a book from the top of the entertainment center. It's a biography of Keanu Reeves. He says to me: "Look in the index under _____."
(My cousin's last name, then first name.) So I do, and it tells me which page to turn to. I do this and read a quote from my cousin about Keanu. So, of course, I ask him what this is all about, and he says he used to be good friends with Keanu to the point that Keanu would occasionally sleep over at his home when they were growing up. My response...."Don't tell me he slept in the same bed that I did when I used to visit!" Guess what? He did!
That was the closest I ever got to him, other than waiting in line to get his autograph when he was doing a play in Winnipeg, and having him quit the signing just before I got to him. :-(
