Filming of First Blood
Brian Dennehy came to Hope, B.C., to act in "First Blood." On one of his first nights there, he joined the locals for a brewsky at the Hope Hotel Cabaret. I was lucky enough to sit at his table -- and talked him into having a dance. A couple of days later, I was watching the filming with my little girls and saw him again. I asked him if he'd mind if I took a picture of him with my daughter. He did! A very nice man -- much more so than the star of the show.
