Met Brooks and Dunn Before they were famous
I went to Fan fair in 1987 in Nashville, Tenn., and met a lot of country stars there. But instead of spending hours in an autograph line for one autograph, I decided I would go to the booths that had no lines and meet the singers there and get autographs. The first booth I went to had two good looking guys I had never seen before. They told me they went by Brooks and Dunn. I got autographs, pictures and we talked for almost 20 minutes until the next person came by. It was a GREAT time. The next year they had their first big hit and really took off. Now days if I wanted an autograph or a picture with them at fan fair, I would have to spend hours waiting in line. I will always cherish the time I got to spend with them before they were stars!
