I saw elvis in a white stretch limo
I know a lot of bums and one time last summer they talked me into going with them to sell water on the corner of a busy street. It was about 95 degrees, so I figured I would sell pretty good or die trying. Well, the first sale I made happened to be someone really famous although nobody believes who it was. A long white limo pulled up slowly just as I was about to give up and die of heat stroke. A dark tinted window rolled down, and all I could see at first was a hand full of rings from a long white sequined sleeve waving for me to walk over. So I walked over, and it was Elvis, no mistaking him. he looked just as good as ever. He said excuse me miss, but how much for a case of them waters. I said I wasn't sure. I was just in shock and couldn't think. He said, well here darlin, take this and handed me a hand full of hundreds. I just shoved it all in my pocket before the other bums would rush up on me. Then as I handed him the case, he said thank you, thank you very much. I just couldn't believe it. I stood there frozen for a long time in the 95 degree heat with a chill down my spine. Had I seen a ghost? I finally went to sit down in the shade and count my money. Elvis had given me 500 dollars and oh what a story to tell.
