MET BILLY JOEL IN JAPAN
Billy Joel was touring the orient, visiting the different U.S. bases and stopped at Yokota Air Base in Japan. Myself and three other airmen gave him a personal tour of one of our C-130 aircraft. The tour lasted less than a half hour. He showed an admiration for the troops stationed overseas. I'm sure all the airmen involved will remember this occasion for their entire lives.
