Hit me with car/got autograph
Well, I live in Chicago and am a extreme White Sox fan. During the summer of 2004, I was walking past the athlete parking lot after one of the games. Well, I later found out that Frank Thomas usually has a large number of fans waiting for him to sign autographs by the gate and he either stops or drives past them. That day he decided to drive past them, so me not noticing a car coming, heard brakes and before I can see it, his bumper hits my knee. My hand slammed down on the hood and I looked at the driver to see Frank Thomas!
Then security came running up to me to make sure I was OK, and Frank even poked his head out the window and asked how I was doing. The pain in my leg vanished at the sight of my idol. I told him I was fine and was honored the person who hit me was him. He smiled and then looked around for a second and gave something to the security guard by his window. The guy then hands me it, and when I look down it was card signed!
I was so happy I could have jumped for joy, but that wasn't to be the case. to think that one of the greatest moments for me was to get hit by a car.
