Bruce Springsteen
Saw him at a grocery store in Jersey.
Bruce -- a scruffy and normal looking person. I did not disturb his personal space by saying anything. He glanced at me, and I smiled. He grinned back, in a platonic manner, of course. It felt good to acknowledge my appreciation of Bruce's art without invading his privacy. I know I could not handle being in the public eye as much as most celebrities. Give them their space. Let them be.
