Bob goes banking, incognito
I was working at a bank in Cape Cod, MA back in 1993. One of our customers was Bob Villa, who was at his height in the show "This Old House." Usually he had an assistant that would come in and make his deposits, but on this day he came in in person. While he was at my teller window I noticed a man standing at the next window kept looking at Mr. Villa. The man finally looked at Bob and said: "Did anyone ever tell you that you look a lot like that guy from "This Old House?" Mr. Villa looked at him and said: "Yeah, I get that a lot."
