Surprise Dinner Host.....
While in the Los Angeles area many years ago,
my husband and I decided to try a local seafood restaurant that was considered a high end place to dine. I ordered lobster and my husband ordered his meal. A short while later, dinner was served and when I took my first bite of the lobster it was ice cold. I told my husband that for the price and to be owned and operated by some celebrity, I was totally disappointed in the food. Well, a few seconds later, out of the blue, Alan Hale walks right up to our table and asks us if we are enjoying our meal. I was shocked! Here was my chance to tell him like it was. But I didn't have the heart to tell him that the food was bad. All I could say was it's fine. I ate the rest of my dinner in silence, but vowed never to return again.
