Adrienne Clarkson

My daughter and I were having lunch at Cora's in Halifax when I noticed an elegant woman sitting at the window seat. I discretely pointed her out to my daughter, Kristin, and said, "That's Adrienne Clarkson, the former Governor General of Canada." We continued on with our meal until I noticed that she was leaving. Someone else had asked for her autograph so I bravely went up to her and introduced myself and told her that it was an honour to meet her. I then asked if I could have my picture taken with her. She very graciously allowed my daughter to take our picture together even though she was in a rush to go somewhere!
