I used to work on his airplane.
During the early 1980s, I worked at Santa Barbara airport where John Travolta was learning to fly. I did some minor avionics work on his Cessna 414 and had several conversations with him. He was a very nice and unassuming man. All the ladies working at the facility swooned over him and at one time, a young lady actually climbed onto the wing of his airplane as he was taxiing across the tarmac.
